Proof That You Don’t Need to be a Big Brand to Get Big Results

Mod Appliances Case Study

The Client

Our client, a small appliances brand, has a clear mission: to make health and wellness accessible for every Australian household. Their range of name-brand juicers and blenders are competing with international heavy-hitters in the space, and enjoy a cult-like following due to their superior quality and customer service.

Initially, this client came to us for an audit of their digital marketing strategy, to identify any gaps in their marketing efforts. Our team put together a comprehensive audit of their website, organic social media presence and paid digital marketing activities and found a number of opportunities for improvement and growth.

The Challenge

Our two biggest challenges came in the form of an oversaturated market and a limited budget. We overcame each of these issues through a carefully targeted approach, utilising high-performing user generated content and repurposing organic social media content into eye-catching, engaging carousels, videos and single image ads. Throughout, we ensured we addressed the most common consumer pain points with solutions that focused on the product’s unique selling points.

The Strategy

We deployed campaigns across all levels of the marketing funnel, and utilised Google, Facebook, Instagram, Bing, TikTok and YouTube ads. By embracing platforms that are often overlooked, such as YouTube, and capitalising on the rapidly growing TikTok market, we were able to reach audiences that were being somewhat overlooked by the brand’s competitors.

The brand now has ambitions to scale world-wide, following some incredible results in the New Zealand and US markets. A fantastic result!
