How we got 335 new patients for a medical practice in one month

Riverstone Medical Practice is a purpose built medical clinic which opened in January 2018 to service the residents of Riverstone, Doreen and surrounding suburbs. They offer an array of health services such as dietician, skin cancer treatment, family health, children’s health and immunisations.

Riverstone came to us to increase their patient numbers and increase their brand awareness in the local community. Being in a heavily competitive market, our biggest challenge was how to stand out from the competition and ensure that the local community knew about Riverstone medical practice rather than its competitors. 


Being in an extremely competitive market also meant that the cost per clicks were relatively high compared to other industries, especially on Google. 

The Strategy

To ensure our ads stood out from their competitors, we focused on our messaging and honed in on what their potential patients were looking for. This involved ensuring ‘bulk-billing’ was present in all our ads and ensuring we gave clear messaging around vaccination appointments as well. 

Our social ads helped increase the brand awareness of Riverstone Medical Practice, thus further increasing patient bookings. Our vaccination ads generated an enormous amount of engagement from our local market, which appreciated our updates regarding the COVID-19 vaccines. 

A big part of our strategy was to also get the doctors’ faces in front of the community to generate a feel of familiarity and convey to our target market of how approachable these doctors are. This led to a significant increase in engagement, with many of the potential patients getting familiar with the doctors bio before even coming into the clinic.
